In the early hours of Saturday morning, Sussex Police responded to multiple reports of a violent altercation involving a group of people in the vicinity of Portland Road, Worthing. The incident, which occurred around 1.05 am, resulted in four men sustaining injuries, prompting Police to launch an investigation

Upon receiving the 999 calls, officers rushed to the scene to assess the situation, identify suspects, victims, and witnesses, and ensure the safety of the public in the local area. Four men were found injured and were promptly taken to the hospital for medical attention. Fortunately, all injuries were deemed non-life-threatening, with three of the victims suffering from stab wounds and the fourth from a head injury.

In the wake of the incident, Sussex Police launched an investigation, working to piece together the events leading up to the altercation. As part of their efforts, authorities arrested two individuals on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm in connection with the incident.

One of the suspects, a 19-year-old man from Brighton, was arrested and subsequently released on conditional bail until September 30th. Meanwhile, a 19-year-old man from Worthing, also arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm, remains in police custody as the investigation continues.
