Man arrested after ‘trying to steal supermarket cash machine using telehandler’ – UKNIP

A 43-year-old man has been apprehended by police after allegedly stealing a mobile crane and attempting to use it in a daring cash machine theft at a local supermarket in Barnham, West Sussex.

The incident unfolded when authorities received a report of a small crane being stolen from a building site on Yapton Road around 2:15 am on Tuesday.
