At around 5pm on Sunday 9 July 2023, the victim was approached by another man in London Road. The suspect reportedly hit him on the head with a hammer before leaving the scene on a black e-scooter.
Following initial investigations, including forensic examinations, house-to-house enquiries, and a review of CCTV in the area, officers are now able to release an image of a man they wish to talk to.
