Drug raid strikes at Manor Road, Eastwood – cash and cannabis seized

Operation Reacher swoops on suspected drug den

The Broxtowe Operation Reacher team, backed by neighbourhood policing colleagues, stormed a property in Manor Road, Eastwood, on Tuesday (13 December 2022). A man and two women inside were searched, while officers conducted thorough searches of the premises.

Cash, phones and cannabis seized – but no arrests yet

The proactive raid uncovered hundreds of pounds in cash, multiple mobile phones, and a stash of cannabis. Despite the haul, no arrests were made at the scene. Police say further investigations are underway following the operation.

Sergeant vows crackdown on drug supply and organised crime

“We remain determined to do all we can to disrupt drug supply and criminal activity which blights our communities and harms vulnerable people,” said Sergeant Andy Foulds, of the Broxtowe Operation Reacher Team.

“Drug supply often funds serious organised crime and exploits vulnerable members of society. We have a duty to protect them.”

“We will keep using all powers at our disposal to pursue suspects involved in drug crime and bring them to justice.”
