Damien Bendall, once the partner of Terri Harris, has admitted to a horrific crime that has shocked Derbyshire. He raped and murdered Terri’s 11-year-old daughter, Lacey Bennett.

Bendall didn’t stop there. He also murdered Terri Harris, 35, her 13-year-old son John Paul Bennett, and Lacey’s 11-year-old friend Connie Gent. The chilling discovery was made at a house in Chandos Crescent, Killamarsh, Derbyshire, on 19 September 2021.
Twisted Crime Details Revealed in Court
At Derby Crown Court, Bendall, 32, pleaded guilty to the murders and rape. Devastatingly, the court heard Ms Harris was pregnant when she was killed. The sickening assault included Bendall raping Lacey as she lay dying from her injuries.
Timeline of Terror
The murders are believed to have occurred between 17 September and when their bodies were found two days later. Bendall is now awaiting sentencing for this grim and calculated spree.
