Man Held Over Christmas Eve Murder Plot
A 31-year-old man from Tranmere has been arrested on suspicion of murder conspiracy following a shocking shooting on Christmas Eve.
Two Others Released in Shooting Probe
Police had previously arrested two others in connection with the shooting but have since released them. The incident happened just before midnight at the Lighthouse Inn in Wallasey Village, Wirral.
Victim Wasn’t the Intended Target
Elle Edwards, a beautician, was shot in the head. Detectives revealed she was not the intended target. Her family described her as “the most beautiful and bright star” who could “light up a room as she walked in.”
Her laugh was infectious, anyone who was around her had a good time, she loved life and had so many amazing plans for the future,” her loved ones told Merseyside Police.
Tragically, Elle had only recently begun her promising journey in life.
