Suspect Hunt Underway

The attacker is described as a white male in his 20s, medium build, with short black hair shaved at the sides. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt featuring a black motif on the chest, black tapered tracksuit trousers, and black trainers with white soles.

Police are combing CCTV footage from the area, hoping to catch a clear image of the suspect.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

“We believe the victim and suspect had a confrontation about five minutes before the assault,” said Detective Constable Matthew McCann. “This area is usually bustling with revellers and pedestrians. We urge anyone present around that time to come forward—even if you think your information is trivial, it could be vital. A young man has suffered a serious injury, and we must find who is responsible.”
