Dog Walker Punched Unconscious in Shocking Motorcycle Attack
A dog walker in Penenden Heath was left unconscious after an unprovoked punch from a motorbike passenger. The shocking assault happened on Boxley Road, Maidstone, where the victim was out walking his dog.
Motorbike Antics Turn Violent
The trouble started around 2pm on Friday, 29 April 2022. Despite roadworks closing the area, a motorbike was spotted performing wheelies and driving recklessly. When the victim raised his arms to object, the bike stopped. The passenger jumped off, punched the man in the face, knocking him to the ground and causing him to hit his head.
The pair then sped off with no number plate, heading towards Pendenden Heath. An off-duty police officer was first on scene and called an ambulance. The victim was rushed to hospital and later discharged.
Police Hunt Masked Suspect with Piercing Eyes
PC Paul Otter of Maidstone CID said, “This was an entirely unprovoked attack, which caused the victim to strike his head on the pavement and could easily have led to more serious injuries.” He added police had done house-to-house enquiries and were scouring local CCTV footage.
Describing the suspects, police said both were young men, possibly late teens to mid-20s, dressed in black. The attacker wore a black balaclava, was white, about 5’7” tall, with piercing light blue eyes.
