Detectives are appealing for information after a 15-year-old boy died in Wolverhampton on Friday after being stabbed. The ambulance service called police just before 4.15pm to say that they were treating an injured child near to a canal bridge on Reapers Walk, Pendeford. The victim was part of a group of a people standing outside Pendeford Fish Bar, The Haymarket at about 3.40pm. Detectives need to identify everyone who was there so that they can speak to them about what happened. Police also believe that a video showing some of the incident was posted on Snapchat. The video is vital to the investigation and are appealing for anyone with a copy of it to send it in, or let them know which accounts it was shared by. A scene is still in place, and further searches will be carried out today including a specialist underwater search. Anyone who saw what happened and has not yet spoken to detectives should contact them urgently.
