A Suspected Burglar Has Appeared In Court Following An Investigation Into A Tunbridge Wells Burglary

Following an investigation into a Tunbridge Wells burglary, a suspected burglar appeared in court. Kent Police received a report that a house in Dornden Drive, Langton Green, was targeted and a car, jewellery, and other property were stolen between Saturday, December 31, 2022, and Sunday, January 1, 2023.   The Chief Constable’s Crime Squad detectives completed their investigation into the break-in, and the victim’s car was later recovered from a road in Addington. On Wednesday, January 11, a man and a woman were arrested. A flick knife was also seized by the arresting officers. Christopher Grinham, of Kings Walk, South Croydon, Greater London, was charged later with burglary, car theft, possession of a flick knife, driving while disqualified, and driving without insurance. On Thursday, January 12, the 43-year-old appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court and was remanded to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on February 9. A 43-year-old woman from South Croydon was released on bail until March 8.
