Officers, the London Ambulance Service, and an air ambulance were dispatched.
A motorcycle rider and three pedestrians were found injured.
A male pedestrian died at the scene, despite the efforts of emergency personnel.
Three more people were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Their current conditions are unknown.
