Officers Spot Suspicious Duo at Cadnam Crescent
Police were called to Cadnam Crescent around 11.10pm after reports that two men were acting suspiciously and stripping parts from a car.
Getaway Vehicle Spotted and Abandoned on Milton Road
Witnesses gave a description of the suspects and their vehicle. Officers soon found the empty vehicle on Milton Road and launched a search of the area.
Duo Busted in Stockport Avenue
About 20 minutes later, two men matching the description were spotted on Stockport Avenue. A man in his 50s from Dorset and another man in his 50s from Salisbury were arrested on suspicion of theft from a vehicle and vehicle interference.
Suspects Held at Gablecross Police Station
Both remain in custody at Gablecross Police Station for questioning.
