Man in 40s Brutally Assaulted on Wessex Estate

Police raced to the Wessex Estate at 4.16pm last Friday, after reports of a violent assault on a man in his 40s.

Victim Suffers Serious Facial Injuries

The victim was left with severe facial injuries following the attack.

Two Men Arrested and Charged

Officers quickly arrested two suspects. Michael Sadler, 29, from Westbury Close, Bransgore, faces charges of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and assault by beating.

Leo Shields, 25, of no fixed address, is also charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

Both Men Remanded to Appear in Court

Sadler and Shields were remanded in custody and are due to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 13 March.
