Manhunt Underway for Knife Murder Suspect in Thornhill

Police are hunting a man linked to the brutal stabbing of 64-year-old Mark Noke, found dead at his Thornhill home on Warburton Road in the early hours of 25 February.

Leighton Wanted for Murder and Prison Recall

Leighton, who has connections to Southampton and Gosport, is wanted not only for Mark’s murder but also for breaching his prison licence following a previous knife possession conviction last year.

Police Urge Public: Don’t Approach, Report Immediately

“We want to speak to Leighton in connection with Mark’s death, and urge him to come forward,” said Acting DCI Howard Broadribb.

“Anyone harbouring him could be committing an offence and may be arrested. If you see him, don’t approach—call 999 immediately.”

“We’ve conducted numerous enquiries but now need the public’s help. If you know where he is, contact us directly or anonymously through Crimestoppers.”

“Extra patrols remain active in the Thornhill area following Mark’s tragic death.”
