Man Shot on Winifred Street: Suspect Charged
Police rushed to Winifred Street near Fisher Close at around 2.30pm on Saturday 18 March after reports of a shooting.
A 22-year-old man was found with gunshot wounds and taken to hospital. Fortunately, he has since been released.
Accused to Face Sheffield Crown Court
Abdullah Ishaq, 21, from Doncaster Road, Rotherham, has been charged with attempted murder. He is set to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on 21 April 2023.
Police Hunt for Key Witnesses and Vehicle
Detectives want to hear from anyone with information on the shooting. They are especially keen to track down anyone who spotted a black Audi A3 parked nearby at the time.
