Knife-wielding thug robs Eastwood Road shop at knifepoint
A masked man stormed into a shop on Eastwood Road around 8.40pm on Sunday (2 April), brandishing a knife and threatening staff to hand over cash.
Three-figure haul stolen in bold robbery
The robber demanded money before making off with a three-figure sum from the till. No one was injured during the terrifying incident.
Suspect description released
- White male, approximately 5ft 10ins tall
- Stocky build
- Wearing a grey tracksuit
- Scarf wrapped around head, partially concealing face
Police appeal for info and footage
