Thugs attack two brothers on night out in Newark
Just after 2am on Sunday, 26 March, chaos erupted in Middle Gate, Newark. Two men enjoying a night out were viciously set upon by three attackers as they made their way to another pub.

Officers swiftly released CCTV images to track down the culprits. Their efforts paid off when a 25-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of assault.
Victim fights for recovery
The seriously injured victim remains in hospital but is reported to be in a stable condition as he recovers.
