Just after midnight on Tuesday, 7 March 2023, Kent Police were scrambled after windows at two village shops were smashed in a shocking late-night attack.

Teen Charged with Multiple Offences
Cameron Jeffery, 19, from Vale Road, Cranbrook, now faces three counts of criminal damage, assaulting an emergency worker, and being drunk and disorderly in public.
Court Appearance and Next Steps
Jeffery appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 18 March. He has been remanded ahead of a Maidstone Crown Court hearing, with the date yet to be confirmed.
