Brutal Night Out: 20-Year-Old Left with Fractured Skull in Pelham Street Attack

Blow Out of Nowhere

A young man’s night out turned nasty in an instant. Just after leaving a bar on Thurland Street at around 2.45am on Saturday, 25 February, the 20-year-old was approached from behind on nearby Pelham Street.

As he turned, he was suddenly punched to the ground by a stranger who was dragging a suitcase and brandishing a hockey stick.

Serious Injuries — Police Seek Witness

The victim suffered a fractured skull and multiple facial injuries and was rushed to hospital for urgent treatment.

Nottinghamshire Police have now released a photo of a man they want to question over the shocking assault.

Police Plea: Help Catch the Attacker

“There is simply no excuse for anyone to behave in such an aggressive manner,” said PC Sasha Bellaby. “This incident quite understandably left the victim very shaken and severely injured.”

“If you recognise the man in the picture, please get in touch.”
