Drug Bust at Eden Avenue: Two Charged After Heroin Haul
Police swooped on an Eden Avenue property and found around 50 grams of suspected uncut heroin, thanks to PD Hector’s sharp nose. The raid, carried out by the County Line and Gangs Team on Monday 17 April 2023, led to two arrests.
Joel Loba and Chahnah Bagnall in Custody
Joel Loba, 24, was hauled in on the same day. He faces serious charges including two counts of being involved in Class A drug supply, two counts of possessing drugs with intent to supply, and possession of criminal property—cash seized in the bust.
Chahnah Bagnall, 26, also from Eden Avenue, was charged with possessing heroin with intent to supply, involvement in crack cocaine supply, and possession of criminal property (cash).
Both Remanded Ahead of Court
The duo were remanded in custody and are set to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 18 April. The County Line and Gangs Team say the crackdown is part of ongoing efforts to tackle drug supply in the area.
