Police Trainee Busted with Thousands of Sick Child Abuse Images
Trainee Solicitor and Special Constable Arrested
Jack Mallinson, 25, a trainee solicitor and special police constable with West Yorkshire Police, has been caught with a horrific stash of child abuse material. Identified by National Crime Agency (NCA) investigators as “winterz100,” Mallinson used the encrypted messaging app Wickr to share vile content.
Shocking Haul of Illegal Images Found
Arrested on 7 January last year, officers seized Mallinson’s electronic devices. They uncovered 3,710 indecent images of children (IIOC) across categories A to C. Category A is the most severe. Even worse, his gaming laptop contained 14 extreme pornographic images involving bestiality.
Facing Serious Charges and Court Date Set
Mallinson faces five counts of making and possessing IIOC, plus one count of publishing obscene posts. He pleaded guilty to all charges at a magistrates’ court on 2 March and is due to be sentenced at Leeds Crown Court on 30 March.
“Behind every one of these images and videos is a young victim, who is powerless and exploited,” said Matthew Brooks, NCA operations manager. “The NCA will continue to do everything it can to bring individuals like Mallinson to justice and protect those affected by online child sexual abuse.”
