Horror in Fazeley: Horses Stabbed in Shocking Attack
Police rushed to a property near Willowbank, Fazeley at 8.04am on Sunday (16 April) after reports that three horses had been stabbed multiple times.
Two Horses Seriously Injured but Set to Recover
Thankfully, two of the horses were treated quickly by a vet and are expected to make a full recovery. The third horse escaped serious injury and needed no treatment.
Suspect Arrested and Released on Bail
A 47-year-old man from Tamworth was arrested shortly after the attack on suspicion of animal welfare offences and criminal damage. He has now been released on conditional police bail as inquiries continue.
