Battle Over £95k Cannabis Farm Ends in Murder
Aranit was killed during a savage brawl between two rival gangs battling over a cannabis factory in Brislington back in May 2022.

Bristol Crown Court Trial Uncovers Turf War
During the trial, the jury heard how Aranit’s gang was fiercely guarding the cannabis crop from a rival group intent on robbing it. Tragically, the clash turned deadly.
Brikel Palaj and Radian Lika were found guilty of Aranit’s murder. Meanwhile, Nikola Palaj was convicted of manslaughter. Another man, Kastriot Mhillaj, pled guilty to violent disorder before the trial even began.
Heavy Sentences Handed Down
- Brikel Palaj, 33, from Plumstead, London, was jailed for life with a minimum of 20 years behind bars.
- Radian Lika, 35, from Islington, London, also received a life sentence, with at least 20 years to serve.
- Nikola Palaj, 28, of Plumstead, London, got five years in prison for manslaughter.
- Kastriot Mhillaj, currently homeless, was sentenced to 18 weeks in jail for violent disorder.
The brutal fight over a multi-thousand-pound cannabis crop ended in tragedy, with justice finally served at Bristol Crown Court.
