In a dramatic incident on Friday at 7.10pm two trains collided at Aviemore Railway Station in the Cairngorms, northern Scotland. Emergency services swiftly responded to the scene, where the iconic Flying Scotsman was reportedly involved, as stated by local reports.
According to a spokesperson from Police Scotland, two individuals have been transported to Raigmore Hospital, and on-site medical assistance is being provided to other passengers. The collision occurred on the Strathspey Railway, a heritage line based in the area, involving a stationary carriage and another train within the station premises.
