Avon & Somerset Police are appealing to the public for any information regarding a dog bite incident that occurred on Tuesday, September 26, at approximately 20.15. The incident took place on Devonshire Road, where a woman in her 50s was attacked by a dog that jumped up and bit her arm.
The victim sustained puncture marks on her arm as a result of the incident and was promptly taken to the hospital for medical attention. The severity of her injuries is yet to be disclosed.
The dog involved in the incident is described as a cream or white large breed. It was being walked by a white man with short, dark hair. The man was seen wearing a bomber jacket adorned with multi-coloured blue triangles.
Authorities are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has any relevant information to come forward and assist with their inquiries. They are particularly interested in obtaining details about the dog and its owner, as well as any other relevant information that may aid in the investigation.
