A 38-year-old man, Craig Ordish, has been charged with serious sexual offences involving a girl under the age of 13 at Co-operative Childcare Burton. The accused appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Friday, October 13, where he was remanded into custody pending further legal proceedings.
Ordish faces charges of sexual assault against a minor and two counts of making indecent photographs/pseudo-photographs of a child. These allegations have understandably sent shockwaves through the community, raising concerns for the safety and well-being of children.
The accused is scheduled to appear at Stafford Crown Court on November 10.
