Two Arrested After Man Found Dead in Hounslow Home
Police have arrested two suspects in connection with the death of David Ackerley, 45, who was found dead at his Cedar Court, Boston Manor Road home. Ackerley was reported missing on Sunday, October 8 before authorities discovered his body.
Cause of Death: Brain Injury
A post-mortem revealed Ackerley died from brain swelling and a bleed on the brain. Detectives say he was assaulted outside his home on September 30, suffering facial injuries that needed hospital treatment. This assault was already under investigation.
Suspects Held on Murder and Theft Charges
On Thursday, October 12, a 33-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman were arrested in Uxbridge on suspicion of murder and theft. Both remain in police custody as the Specialist Crime division leads the probe.

“We want to understand David’s life, the people around him, and what led to this tragedy,” said Detective Chief Inspector Geoff Grogan. “The family deserves answers, and the public can play a crucial role in helping us find them.”
