Man Stabbed in Abbey Wood: Police Probe Attempted Murder

A terrifying stabbing rocked Abbey Wood late Tuesday night. A 28-year-old man was knifed in the neck on Eynsham Drive, sparking an urgent police operation.

At 10:48pm on October 24, officers rushed to the scene after emergency services received reports of a stabbing. They found the victim seriously injured but lucky to be alive.

Victim Stable After Hospital Treatment

The man was quickly taken to hospital, where medics confirmed his injuries were not life-threatening. Despite this, police are treating the case as an attempted murder.

Met Police Launch Full Investigation

No arrests have been made yet, but detectives are working hard to track down the attacker. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:

“Officers were called at 22:48hrs on 24 October to reports of a stabbing in Eynsham Drive, SE2. Officers and the Ambulance Service found a 28-year-old man who had been stabbed in the neck. He was taken to hospital where his injuries were assessed to be non-life threatening.”

Residents are urged to come forward with any information that could help catch the culprit.
