Tragic Road Crash Claims Two Lives in Markethill

Two Dead After Horror Four-Car Smash

The Police Service of Northern Ireland has confirmed a fatal road traffic collision in Markethill early on Saturday, November 4. The crash, involving four vehicles, occurred at around 1:20am on Gosford Road.

44-year-old Ciara McElvanna from Armagh was rushed to hospital but sadly died from her injuries on Wednesday, November 8. Another victim, 40-year-old Patrick Grimley, also from County Armagh, lost his life at the scene.

Others Remain in Hospital

Two men and one woman are still receiving treatment in hospital after the crash. Authorities have not released updates on their conditions.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

The Collision Investigation Unit at Sprucefield has launched a full inquiry. Officers are urging anyone who saw the collision or has dash-cam or mobile footage to get in touch immediately.
