Disturbing Kidnap Scare in Dundee as Woman Dragged Into Car

Police Scotland has launched an urgent hunt after a young woman was forcibly carried into a car following a late-night disturbance on Turnberry Avenue in Dundee. Witnesses spotted the chilling scene and are being urged to come forward.

What Happened?

The drama unfolded just before midnight last Saturday. A man was seen wrestling a woman into a dark blue or black Range Rover, with another man inside the vehicle. Locals reported shouting and a troubling struggle at a nearby home.

Who Is the Woman?

Police describe her as around 20 years old with long black hair. At the time, she wore a short white skirt. Authorities are deeply worried about her safety and are desperate to find her.

Police Appeal: Help Find Her Now

“We are concerned for the welfare of this female, and it’s imperative we trace her to make sure she is safe and well,” said Inspector Grant McGaughay.

Officers are canvassing the area, knocking on doors, and scouring CCTV footage. They’re especially hungry for dashcam or private CCTV clips that might shed light on what happened.

Last Sighting of the Vehicle

  • The Range Rover was last seen heading along Balgowan Avenue.
  • Then it moved onto Claverhouse Road.
  • Finally, it was spotted near the Fintry roundabout on the A90.

Know Something? Speak Up!

Inspector McGaughay urged anyone with info about the car, the suspects, or the woman to contact Police Scotland immediately. Time is critical to ensure her safety.
