Nottingham Teen Charged Over ISIS Terror Offences
A 15-year-old boy from Nottingham has been charged with terror offences linked to Islamic State (IS), police revealed today.
Serious Charges Following Intelligence-Led Arrest
Counter Terrorism Policing North East (CTPNE) said the youth faces six counts of disseminating terrorist publications and one count of supporting a proscribed organisation. He was arrested in June during a pre-planned, intelligence-led operation targeting suspicious IS-related online activity.
The boy is set to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Monday. Authorities confirmed there is no immediate threat to public safety.
