Leighton Buzzard Rapist Jailed for Nine Years in Shocking Alley Attack

Loui Cadman, 25, has been slammed with a nine-year prison sentence for the vile rape and voyeurism of a woman in a Leighton Buzzard alleyway. The chilling details were revealed on Channel 4’s 24 Hours in Police Custody last Sunday, sending shockwaves through the community.

Horrific Crime Caught on Camera

Last year, Cadman followed a vulnerable woman from a bar into a dark alley. Without her consent, he secretly filmed her urinating and made sickening comments about her body. The nightmare did not end there – he proceeded to orally rape her in the alley.

From Fake Sympathy to Full Admission

During a police interview, Cadman initially painted himself as a gentle soul, claiming he’d cry over harming even an insect. But his mask slipped when he confessed to filming the woman. “It’s disgusting and I don’t know why I’ve done it,” he admitted coldly.

Predatory Offender a Threat to Women

Cadman was found guilty of rape, voyeurism, possession of indecent images, and cannabis possession. The judge labelled him “predatory” and “a danger to women.” The court heard the victim, separated from her friends and left phone-less, now battles panic attacks and sleepless nights following the assault.

Police digging deeper found more secret videos on Cadman’s phone featuring young women and even a couple filmed without their knowledge. This sick evidence shows a dangerous escalation from voyeurism to violent sexual assault.

Police Crack Down on Male Violence Against Women

Det Chief Insp Michelle Lack of Bedfordshire Police stressed the force’s fight against male violence in the night-time economy. “This case highlights the work of our RASSO team to support victims and lock up sexual offenders,” she said.

Bedfordshire Police urge anyone feeling unsafe to report suspicious behaviour early. They vow to stop predators before offences spiral out of control and keep public spaces safe for all.
