Suspicious car stopped in Dartford uncovers suspected Class A drugs and weapons

Police swoop in Wilmington

On Wednesday 26 October 2022, officers stopped a suspicious car in Pinewood Place, Wilmington, Dartford. The vehicle had earlier raised alarm in nearby Herne Bay.

Cash, drugs, phones and knife found

Working alongside a police dog, officers uncovered a concealed bag inside the car. It contained cash, between 60 and 80 wraps of suspected Class A drugs, three mobile phones, and a locking knife.

Man arrested and released under investigation

A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply, involvement in drug supply, and possession of a bladed article. He has since been released under investigation as Kent Police’s County Lines and Gangs Team pursue further enquiries.
