Wolverhampton Murder Shock: Man Charged After Woman Found Fatally Stabbed
A grim discovery in Wolverhampton has left the community reeling. A woman in her 40s was found with fatal stab wounds on Park Meadow Avenue in the early hours of Friday, December 15.
Police Respond to Early Morning Horror
West Midlands Police were called to the scene just before 7am. Emergency services raced to help the injured woman but she was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Local Man Arrested Over Brutal Killing
Rajveer Mahey, 39, from Wolverhampton, was swiftly arrested and charged with her murder. He is due to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates’ Court on December 18 as the investigation unfolds.

The area around Park Meadow Avenue has been sealed off. Officers are carrying out door-to-door inquiries and collecting forensic evidence as they piece together what happened. Police have urged anyone with information or who saw anything suspicious to come forward immediately.
