At approximately 6.25pm on Wednesday, 20 December, a distressing incident unfolded in The Hale, N17, when police were alerted to reports of a man being assaulted. The London Metropolitan Police, alongside the London Ambulance Service, swiftly responded to the scene.
Upon arrival, they found a 22-year-old man suffering from severe stab wounds. The victim was immediately rushed to the hospital, where he is currently battling for his life in a critical condition. His family has been notified of the tragic event and is being supported during this difficult time.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the stabbing. Detectives from the Haringey Criminal Investigation Department (CID) are diligently conducting enquiries to unravel the circumstances surrounding the assault. The investigation is still in its early stages, with efforts being made to establish the motive behind this violent act.
In response to the incident, there will be an increase in police patrols in the area to ensure public safety and to gather any additional information from the community. The police are appealing to anyone who might have witnessed the event or has any relevant information to come forward.
