Taunton Burglars Nabbed: Two Men Plead Guilty in Early Morning Raid

Burglary at Manor Road

Robert Catleugh, 38, from Alfred Street, Taunton, and Larry Grant, 50, of Jubilee Street, Taunton, have both been charged with one count of non-dwelling burglary. The break-in happened in Manor Road during the early hours of Tuesday, 19 December.

Additional Assault Charge for Catleugh

Catleugh faces an extra charge of assaulting a police officer during the arrest.

Court Appearances and Sentencing

Both men pleaded guilty when they appeared at Taunton Magistrates’ Court. Grant was granted conditional bail and is set for sentencing in February. Meanwhile, Catleugh was remanded in custody and will appear before Taunton Crown Court for sentencing in January.
