Bungling Burglars Nabbed Opposite Charing Cross Police Station

Three men were arrested after a failed break-in right opposite Charing Cross police station in London’s West End. Officers rushed to Chandos Place at around 2pm on Friday, December 22, following reports of two men trying to force their way into a property.

Quick Police Action Leads to Arrests

The Metropolitan Police wasted no time. When they arrived, they detained three men on suspicion of burglary. On top of that, they were hit with charges for possession of class A drugs.

Medical Drama at the Scene

Emergency crews were called in after one of the suspects felt unwell. London Ambulance Service treated him at the scene before rushing him to hospital. London Fire Brigade were initially called to assist but were stood down.

Investigation Ongoing, Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up

The three suspects remain in custody as police probe the brazen break-in attempt next to one of the busiest police stations in London. The Met is appealing for anyone with info or who saw anything to come forward.
