Teen, 16, Missing After Planning to Meet Stranger

A mother is desperately seeking her 16-year-old daughter, Amy Jenking, who has been missing for nearly two days after planning to meet someone she had never met before. Amy left her house over the weekend, despite being told she couldn’t leave at 6 p.m. Her mother, Kathryn Jenking, from Launceston, has been unable to reach her since, and it appears that Amy’s phone has been switched off.

Devon and Cornwall Police have been informed of Amy’s disappearance and are actively involved in the case. Amy is usually diligent about staying in contact no matter where she goes, but her phone has been switched off since she left home almost two days ago to meet with the unknown individual.

“I just want her home now, and I’m thinking all sorts,” Kathryn said in a social media post “Nothing else matters; I just want her home and safe and to get hold of me.”

Amy is described as having short black hair, but she might be wearing a clip-in ponytail. She was last seen wearing a black top and bottoms, black Air Jordan 4 trainers, and a beige Zavetti coat. She stands at 5 feet 9 inches and has a slim build.

Amy’s mother is deeply worried about her daughter’s well-being and is urging anyone with information about her whereabouts to come forward. Amy could potentially be in Plymouth, St Austell, or Camborne, as she has many friends in various locations due to frequent relocations.

The situation has left her family and friends extremely concerned, and they are anxiously awaiting Amy’s safe return. Devon and Cornwall Police are actively investigating the case and seeking any leads that may help locate Amy and ensure her well-being.

Anyone with information regarding Amy Jenking’s whereabouts is urged to contact Devon and Cornwall Police immediately, as her family desperately awaits her return.
