Rural Task Force Credit Close-Knit Communities
Sergeant Darren Walshaw of the Rural Task Force said: “We regularly recover stolen vehicles thanks to strong bonds with rural residents and businesses. Tools like Farm Watcher UK and Country Eye help locals report suspicious activity fast.”
He added: “Many victims just want their vehicles back in one piece, and we’re proud to deliver that while continuing investigations to catch those responsible.”
Tech like GPS trackers and Automatic Number Plate Recognition cameras have been crucial in cracking down on these rural vehicle thefts.
