Two Rescued by Kent Fire and Rescue Service from Margate Flat Fire – UKNIP

Kent Fire and Rescue Service responded to a distress call reporting a fire in a flat situated on Northdown Road, Margate, earlier today.

Three fire engines swiftly arrived at the scene, deploying firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus to combat the blaze. Utilizing a high-pressure hose reel jet, crews worked diligently to extinguish the flames and prevent further escalation of the situation.

In addition to their firefighting duties, responders undertook the critical task of rescuing two individuals trapped within the affected premises. Following their successful extraction, the individuals received immediate medical attention from attending South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) paramedics.

The prompt and coordinated efforts of emergency services resulted in the rapid containment of the fire and the safe evacuation of the occupants.
