Kent Fire and Rescue Service sprang into action earlier today after a distress call reported a fire at a flat on Northdown Road, Margate.
Three Fire Engines Battle Flames
Three fire engines quickly arrived at the scene, with firefighters donning breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze head-on. Using a high-pressure hose reel jet, crews worked tirelessly to douse the flames, which had spread rapidly from a corner of the roof across the property.
Two Trapped Residents Rescued
In a dramatic rescue, emergency crews pulled two individuals from the burning flat. They were swiftly handed over to South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) paramedics for urgent medical care.
Fire Contained, Investigation Underway
