Transphobic Abuse Sparks Brutal Assault at Roller-Skating Party
The court heard the 18-year-old victim, a transgender girl, endured vile transphobic slurs before a group launched a savage attack at a roller-skating party. Prosecutor Bunsri Bhuwa confirmed the victim’s gender identity during the hearing.
Emergency services rushed to Masons Avenue at 7pm on Saturday after the victim was found with multiple stab wounds. She was taken to hospital and, thankfully, has since been discharged. However, the trauma from the ordeal will likely linger.

Betts-Ramsey, visibly emotional in court, confirmed her identity and Cricklewood address. She will remain in custody until her plea hearing at the Old Bailey on March 12.
Before being taken back to her cell, she requested to speak to her mother, saying, “I love you.”
