North Hull Drug Gang Busted and Jailed for Over 22 Years
An organised crime ring pushing Class A and B drugs worth nearly £30,000 across North Hull has been smashed. The gang’s ringleader and five associates have been locked up for a combined 22 years and eight months.
Kingpin Ryan Longley Leads Drug Empire

- Cody Heath, 26, from Pulman Street, Hull, also sentenced to four years and ten months for the same offences.
- Anthony Partington, 29, Greenwood Avenue, Hull, copped two years and three months for crack cocaine and heroin supply.
- Bernard Wileman, 60, Garrowby Walk, Hull, got two years and six months for his role.
- Chantelle Kershaw, 31, Greenwood Avenue, sentenced to two years and three months for involvement in the drug ring.
How Police Cracked the North Hull Drug Network
Police swooped on two properties in Hull last December. They seized £1,500 in cash, cannabis, and a mobile phone. Longley was arrested on the spot. Phone data revealed he was orchestrating heroin and crack cocaine deals across the area.
Detectives uncovered Longley’s managerial role, overseeing operations and payments. Further raids and a police crackdown in Orchard Park throughout 2023 dismantled the gang’s network.
Officers Issue Warning to Would-Be Dealers
Police Constable Claire Dobson said: “I hope this outcome warns anyone thinking of dealing drugs in our towns and cities that we won’t tolerate it.”
“We’ve prevented huge quantities of drugs hitting Hull’s streets and stopped the crime and anti-social behaviour that comes with it. It’s crucial to remove dealers from our communities.
“Many caught up in these gangs are victims themselves who need help breaking free from exploitation. Thank you to everyone who came forward with information.”
