Third Person Charged in Enfield Murder Case

A woman has been hospitalized and two dogs tragically killed after being struck by a teenager riding a motorbike in Leyland.

The devastating incident occurred yesterday morning on Royal Avenue, sparking an emergency response from police and paramedics at 10:15 am. Reports indicated a collision involving a motorbike and a woman walking two dogs.

Lancashire Police confirmed that the woman, aged in her 50s, sustained a minor leg injury. However, the outcome was far more dire for the two canine companions who lost their lives at the scene.

An 18-year-old man from Leyland has since been arrested on suspicion of several charges, including dangerous driving, criminal damage, ABH (Actual Bodily Harm), driving without a license, and disqualified driving. He has been released on bail until July, pending further investigations.

In a statement provided to MailOnline, Lancashire Police stated: “We were called at about 10:15 am yesterday (Thursday, April 4) to a report of a collision on Royal Avenue, Leyland between a motorcycle and a woman walking two dogs. The pedestrian, a woman in her 50s, suffered a minor leg injury but very sadly the two dogs were killed. Following enquiries, an 18-year-old man from Leyland was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, criminal damage, ABH, disqualified driving, and driving without insurance. They have now been bailed until July.”

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigation.
