Wiltshire Police have confirmed a tragic development in the search for missing Downton woman Lynne. Today, April 6, 2024, authorities discovered a body in the Breamore area, where extensive search efforts had been underway since Lynne was reported missing on March 22.
The search operation, conducted with the assistance of the drone unit, specialist dogs, and water resources, has been ongoing in hopes of locating Lynne and ensuring her safe return. However, the discovery of a body this afternoon has brought a sombre turn to the investigation.
