Man in 20s Assaulted and Robbed After Night Out
At around 10.30pm on Wednesday 17 April 2024, a man in his 20s was allegedly assaulted at an address in Mann Square.
Victim Forced into Blue Vauxhall Astra
Following the attack, the victim was put into a blue Vauxhall Astra and driven to Leigh. At about 11.15pm, property belonging to the victim was stolen. The vehicle reportedly made a brief stop on Leigh Road near Stocks Green Road during the journey.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Investigators are urging anyone who saw the assault in Mann Square to come forward. They also want residents with CCTV and drivers with dashcam footage to check for any sighting of the Vauxhall Astra travelling to or from Leigh between 10.30pm and 11.25pm.
Three Men Charged, Await Court Hearing
Three men were charged on Sunday 21 April and remanded to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on 20 May.
