Mastermind of Extreme Website Sentenced for Grisly Crimes

Marius Gustavson, 46, from Haringey, has been sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 22 years for his role as the mastermind behind a horrifying enterprise involving extreme body modifications. The operation, centered around Gustavson’s website “Eunuch Maker,” generated over £300,000 by streaming videos of gruesome procedures, including amputations and instances of cannibalism.

Gustavson’s website featured disturbing content, such as footage of him cooking what appeared to be human body parts, including testicles, which he then consumed in a salad. Judge Mark Lucraft KC described the acts as “gruesome and grisly,” emphasizing their large scale and extreme danger.

Six other individuals involved in the plot received prison sentences ranging from four and a half years to 12 years. The motivation behind their involvement was described as a mix of sexual gratification and financial gain. The defendants used various tools, including clamps used for animal castration, to carry out the procedures.

Prosecutor Caroline Carberry KC revealed that Gustavson was linked to at least 29 procedures, during which body parts were put up for auction online. The victims, numbering 13, included individuals as young as 16 years old.

Gustavson’s crimes came to light after he used a red-hot iron to brand a man’s calf with the letters “EM” for Eunuch Maker. Following a police investigation, 10 men were arrested across London, Scotland, and South Wales.

The severity of the sentence reflects the gravity of the crimes committed and serves as a warning to others engaged in similar unlawful activities. Kate Mulholland from the Crown Prosecution Service emphasized the lasting impact on the victims and underscored the illegality of such practices.

The case sheds light on the dark world of extreme body modification and highlights the importance of vigilant prosecution to prevent further harm to vulnerable individuals. The CPS remains committed to prosecuting such heinous crimes and ensuring justice for the victims.
