The beloved comedy-drama “Boarders” is making a triumphant return for its second series. Created by BAFTA-nominated writer Daniel Lawrence Taylor, the show has garnered critical acclaim for its unique premise and diverse cast.
Plot Summary
“Boarders” follows five talented black inner-city teens who find themselves transported to an alien world – a British boarding school – after receiving scholarships to the prestigious St. Gilbert’s. Despite their places being offered as a thinly veiled PR exercise to improve the school’s reputation, these outsiders set out to make the most of their opportunity.

Series two introduces a new era for St. Gilbert’s. Headmaster Bernard, who initially brought the scholarship students to the school, has been suspended following a school rebellion. Now, acting headmistress Carol Watlington-Geese (also known as the mother of Jaheim’s nemesis, Rupert) takes charge – and she wants the scholarship students gone.
