New Royal Snap Sparks Coronation Buzz!
A stunning new photo of The King and The Queen Consort has just landed. Snapped last month in Buckingham Palace’s elegant Blue Drawing Room by the ace photographer Hugo Burnand, the image captures the royal couple in all their glory. The Palace released the shot today, Tuesday 4 April, to huge fanfare.
Coronation Invitation Revealed
Alongside the dazzling portrait, Buckingham Palace unveiled the official Coronation invitation. This coveted invite will soon be sent out to the elite congregation of over 2,000 guests set to attend the grand ceremony at Westminster Abbey on May 6th.
Meet the Pages of Honour
In another exciting announcement, eight Pages of Honour will accompany Their Majesties during the Coronation Service. Four Pages will walk alongside the King and Queen Consort in the glittering procession through Westminster Abbey’s Nave.
- King’s Pages of Honour: His Royal Highness Prince George of 1, Lord Oliver Cholmondeley, Master Nicholas Barclay, and Master Ralph Tollemache.
- Queen Consort’s Pages of Honour: Her Majesty’s grandsons Master Gus and Master Louis Lopes, Master Freddy Parker Bowles, and great-nephew Master Arthur Elliot.
The young royals and relatives will have the prestigious honour of standing close by Their Majesties on the big day – a moment steeped in tradition and pomp.
