Sex Offender Alfie Murray Jailed for SHPO Breaches
Alfie Murray, 32, was convicted of child sex offences in June 2022 and slapped with a strict Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO). The order made it clear: he had to notify police if he got any internet-enabled devices or had unsupervised contact with anyone under 16. His gadgets were also subject to police checks and monitoring software installations.
New Allegations Spark Police Investigation

After digging deeper, officers linked the abuse to Murray, who lurked behind usernames like ‘KLOWN.7010’ and ‘ALFIEMILWALL85’. He demanded explicit images, sent threats, and left the victim in serious distress until she blocked him.
Uncovered Devices Reveal More Victims
Murray was arrested in January 2024. Police raids uncovered undeclared internet devices proving he’d been reaching out to multiple children, a blatant breach of his SHPO and sex offender notification rules. Three Years Behind Bars
The court activated a suspended sentence, condemning Murray to three years in prison—18 months behind bars and the rest on licence. PC Leona Valsler from the Medway Offender Management Unit slammed Murray as “entirely untrustworthy” and praised the police’s monitoring system to keep such predators in check. She said:
“We regularly visit registered sex offenders to monitor them and prevent further crimes. We install software on their phones and computers and make unannounced visits to check compliance. Murray showed a clear disregard for the conditions of his court order, putting children at risk with his appalling conduct. The court rightly sent him to prison.”
